#CreativElenaRTW Travel Photo Highlights from New Zealand

1. Street Art in Ōtautahi, Christchurch.

Street art has become omnipresent in New Zealand's second largest city, which was hit by a major earthquake in 2011. It was also a great personal pleasure to meet up with my old friend Katie Rutherford again!

Good morning sunshine! Enjoying nature on a boat in the fjord is probably one of the most beautiful experiences in south-west New Zealand.

4. “Heart of the desert” near the Bannockburn Wineries in Cromwell, Central Otago.

In the interior of New Zealand's South Island, the climate tends to be dry and continental. Wine thrives magnificently here!

6. Helicopter flight exploring glaciers, rainforests and the sea in South Westland, New Zealand.

A unique experience for all of us: up to the highest mountains in New Zealand with a view over the vast, green coastal landscape.

7. Whale watching in Kaikoura.

A geological feature of the seabed off Kaikoura keeps a whale population off the east coast of New Zealand's South Island all year round. Here we observe a sperm whale shortly before it dives to a depth of around 3,000 metres.

8. Wharariki Beach in Golden Bay.

One of the most beautiful and best-known beaches in the whole of New Zealand. Must-see when in Golden Bay, in the very north-west of New Zealand's South Island.

10. Exploring Hobbiton Movie Set with our own little hobbits!

Since the filming of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, the film set near Matamata on the North Island of New Zealand has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. We enjoyed it!
