2. Celebrating our wedding day in Hawaii!
My husband and I have reason to celebrate, as we spend our 6th wedding anniversary in Hawaii with a visit to the beach, happy kids & good food. Wow!
3. Falling in love with the wide ocean views.

4. World famous Waikiki Beach.
Perfect for a visit with kids (or else): Waikiki Beach, one of the best known ones in the world.
5. Black Sands Beach on Big Island, Hawaii.
Don’t you, too, feel as if the lava rocks you are looking at have only just cooled down?!
6. Pele, the goddess of fire, in all her Hawaiian glory!
We see the famous Kilauea crater steaming behind us – just a few days after this photo was taken, red lava fountains spray up into the air. All pretty normal on the Big Island in Hawaii!
7. Mighty “Korus” (tree fern shoots) along the way.

8. Road Trip USA: Seligman in Arizona is right by the Historic Route 66.
Another big Plus here: Lots and lots of “Cars” for the boys!!
9. Going back to see Grand Canyon after 30 odd years!
The Grand Canyon is undeniably one of the most spectacular places our planet has to offer. It’s amazing for me to be here with my own children after my first trip with my parents so many years ago.
10. Exploring Monument Valley with Najavo Guides.
Really cool: Our Navajo Tour Day with Three Sisters Navajo Guided Tours. This gave us an exciting, indigenous view of this fascinating rocky desert landscape.
