Hallo Elena,
Hello Elena. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed reading your book. it was a gift from Lucie Täubler who visited my studio last month. Until then I had never even realised that Creative Travel was a thing. I found the book to be very informative, eyeopening and fun to read and I now want to visit Porto!! As an artist in Ireland with many years experience of facilitating workshops and classes, I can offer creative experiences to visitors and have hosted more than 150 volunteers from all over the world. When I looked up Creative Travel in Ireland I could find nothing and yet our country is full of artists, craftspeople, makers, singers and musicians story tellers etc, the history is steeped with it, and there is also a movement towards better food. There must be endless opportunities here for creative travel and yet Ireland does not seem to be focusing on it right now. Opening your blog today, I had to read the bit about Ireland, even though I don’t usually read things on line. Well done for finding the alternative cliff walk, the pics are awesome and made me miss the West. I am landlocked in Tipperary. Anyway, I just wanted to connect and say please look me up if you head this way again. Any links to help with promoting Creative Travel in Ireland could be useful. XX LYNN KIRKHAM @ GREENMANTLE ARTS
Dear Lynn, I so very much enjoyed reading your comment the other day, it made my heart sing !! THANK YOU for taking the time to reach out in such a lengthy feedback, for sharing praise on my book and for inviting me to come back to you for “Creative Ireland” : We / YOU should definitely make it happen!
I’ve had the exact feeling about Ireland every time I have visited: That the country is rich, and full of creativity, as well as the people to tell the story. Let’s continue our conversation and please feel free to email me any time : reachme@creativelena.com !
